Tanker Repairs

Wilmington Tank and Trailer has been providing full spectrum tanker repairs for over 25 years. In addition to our ongoing tanker inspections, we offer the following:

Not only can we provide these O&M repairs, we are also one of the few companies with the National Board R-Stamp approval for welding and repairs on tankers.

The National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessels requires a Certificate of Authorization and R-Stamp for the repair or alteration of boilers, pressure vessels and other pressure retaining equipment. This includes any structural repair work on cargo tankers. Repairs done without R-Stamp approval can prevent your tanker from being allowed to carry cargo and worse, it can result in significant liability.
